Senior CAD Designer (Orlando)

My Client, a Top ENR 50 Engineering, Environmental and Geotechnical firm with 40 offices USA wide, provides expert land development engineering and environmental consulting services for major developers, renewable energy producers, energy companies, corporations, healthcare systems, colleges / universities, and large infrastructure programs throughout the U.S. and around the world.

My Client is seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join its collaborative team in Orlando, or Jacksonville FL. This individual will serve a key function in providing the assistance of planning and designing of civil engineering for both federal and private land development projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a passionate, collaborative team of civil engineers, working on exciting and meaningful projects across many different market sectors.

Responsibilities :

• Effectively use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects;
• Prepare the planning and designing documents of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects in close collaboration with Project Engineers using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment;
• Perform zoning and other feasibility assessments for development projects;
• Perform field inspection services, as needed;
• Write and / or review draft reports, including feasibility studies, stormwater management reports, technical specifications, and utility reports;
• Interact in a professional manner with client and subcontractor representatives in close collaboration with supervisor
