This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Apps as our go-forward platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional application development, a solid understanding of modern software practices, and the ability to guide architectural decisions that support scalable and efficient business solutions.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using
- Power Apps
- and related technologies.
- Lead the creation of
- Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- to demonstrate new capabilities and technical approaches.
- Integrate Power Apps solutions with
- external data sources
- , ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide
- architecture guidance
- and contribute to platform standards and best practices.
- Utilize
- source code management tools
- to maintain clean, version-controlled environments.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Serve as a technical mentor and advisor within the development team.
- Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in traditional application development.
- Hands-on experience with
- Power Apps
- (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
- Experience with
- scripting and front-end technologies
- , such as
- Java
- or similar languages.
- Demonstrated experience connecting Power Apps to
- external data sources
- and APIs.
- Strong understanding of
- Dataverse
- and
- SQL
- , including key differences and integration approaches.
- Familiarity with
- source control
- tools (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
- Proven ability to
- guide architecture decisions
- and contribute to technical strategy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Nice to Have :
- Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or other Microsoft Power Platform components.
