Product Manager / Product Owner

LaunchCode is recruiting for an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to support a client's next phase of its Vehicle Acquisition Modernization initiative. This individual will help align business goals with IT solutions, facilitate stakeholder collaboration, and ensure that product development delivers measurable value. The ideal candidate will combine strong product management expertise with the ability to influence and support peers through partnership and shared collaborative problem-solving. Due to the collaborative leadership dynamic, success will depend on strong communication and a flexible approach.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Partner with business, IT, and product stakeholders to ensure alignment on vision, strategy, and outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder interviews to surface requirements and opportunities.
  • Define MVP scope, rollout phases, and validation checkpoints for new workstreams.
  • Document requirements, create roadmaps, and build business cases to support decision-making.
  • Manage and prioritize backlogs, user stories, and feature sets in collaboration with teams.
  • Facilitate concept creation, rapid prototyping, and validation activities.
  • Support strategic planning and stakeholder alignment efforts, ensuring value delivery across the VAM initiative.
  • Contribute to team development by promoting effective practices through example and collaboration.

Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or similar roles.
  • Proven success in requirements gathering, backlog management, and roadmap creation.
  • Strong facilitation skills, including workshops, interviews, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ability to balance desirability, feasibility, and viability in product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to adapt style to different personalities and levels of experience.
  • Comfortable navigating an environment with junior leaders while building trust and guiding decision-making.
  • Previous experience in large enterprise environments preferred.

  • Temporary : Start in early October 2025, ending July 31, 2026.
