Job Description

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Cleveland, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing visible presence and exceptional customer service. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the facility and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as suspicious activities, property damage, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and documenting visitor activity as required.
  • Support emergency response efforts on-site, such as providing guidance during evacuations or assisting first responders as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
