Senior Program Manager (Reports to the company president)
Lead concurrent programs and support new business development
Apply engineering program management AND business development capabilities in support of clients, primarily in the DoD sector
Use your knowledge of disciplined program management techniques to pursue & manage customer expectations in a client-interactive role. Assess additional unmet needs and pursue follow-on opportunities.
This client has recently more than doubled the size of their operation.
Job responsibilities :
Develop process documentation; support on-boarding; provide for continuous training.
Implement best practices to help the company evolve and grow their manufacturing capabilities.
- Support the design & development of new equipment & automation solutions to improve quality, cycle time & test coverage.
- Design, develop, implement, and document manufacturing processes for IDCAs.
- Develop analytical models to address process improvements
- Improve in process and fielded product quality
- Increase production capacity
- Develop data collection and process control systems
- Develop Preventive Maintenance and equipment spares procedures
- Specify, source, install, and qualify new process equipment
- Provide design feedback and support development of new IDCA products.
- Qualify new designs and new processes to support new programs.
Provide formal program management to assigned customers , primarily DoD and / or space based programs with deep technical content and mission critical hardware deliveries

10+ yrs experience in vacuum systems5+ yrs experience in cooled thermal imaging industry – Dewars and CoolersSix Sigma Black belt or equivalent5+ yrs experience with yield and process improvement10+ yrs experience in Project management in DoD environmentProgram Management certifications or equivalent experience
