Civil Engineer (EIT)

Location : Hamilton NJ

Our client is an industry leading Engineering firm with offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is currently seeking a full time qualified and motivated civil engineering design professional to join our dynamic team in our Hamilton, NJ, office. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in site / civil design and storm water management design.

Education and Licensing :

  • BS in Civil Engineering preferred
  • EIT preferred
  • Completion of continuing education classes or coursework relevant to the industry or position

Engineering Responsibilities :

  • Site / Civil design and storm water management design.
  • Preparation of construction plans and documents for public bidding.
  • Quantity take-off and preparation of construction cost estimates.
  • Provide Project Manager's with design assistance as required for a given project.
  • Prepare or assist with preparation of site plans and specifications.
  • Perform site visits and construction observation as required.
  • Possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Hydro flow storm water design software in addition to working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Engage in regular communication with project managers and other team members in regard to schedule, budget and progress of activities.
  • Possess strong time management skills.
