Job Description

This full-time Graphic Designer position is responsible for creating computer-generated full-color graphics and / or vinyl output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate. The role requires artistic creativity and culminates in complete or modified designs from customer drawings, files, or exact outputs provided by the client. Scheduling is flexible around the needs of the employee and the company.

  • Prioritize tasks and work autonomously
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Maintain accountability for workload
  • Select the best output method based on customer needs
  • Allocate appropriate time to each work order
  • Collaborate with co‑workers and customers using file transfers, FTP access, photo library options, and online proofs
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and type, and arrange layout based on available space, aesthetics, and production requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction per client or supervisor instructions
  • Inspect jobs for accuracy before output, ensuring correct materials and device settings
  • Maintain a customer logo library and convert graphic files
  • Source images, ensuring compliance with copyright laws, release / usage requirements, and optimal resolution
  • Provide proofs for customer approval
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of file storage following brand standards
  • Communicate job requirements and needs with Sales / Service members, Production team, and Production Manager / Center Manager
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes
  • Participate in brand initiatives such as "Everybody Sells" and actively seek sales opportunities for the center
  • Qualifications

  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Ability to view a computer screen for long periods
  • Ability to work under pressure to produce high volume and high-quality work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
