Training Manager
The primary responsibility of this role is to assess plant needs and guide the development and implementation of training programs, including but not limited to, technical training, employee development, management, leadership, quality, and safety training. This position collaborates with plant leadership to coordinate all training activities at the plant, either directly or through members of the subordinate training team.
This role will have direct supervision over the Learning Coordinator and Operational Excellence Leaders, with dotted line connection to the Technical Learning Specialist.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; or five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Food production training experience preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess the skill set to effectively and clearly present information and communicate with others within and outside of the Company. Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines. Bilingual is a plus.
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and the ability to learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel / hold objects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; speak, hear, taste, and smell. Employee may occasionally lift, push / pull up to forty (40) pounds.
The work environment would normally be an office setting but may require trips through the entire facility which would include climate extremes.
Normally Monday-Friday as scheduled by management and weekends if needed, generally, 8 or more hours / day as established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Must be available to work as directed.
