Responsibilities Home health setting with float pool assignments Patient caseload includes CHF, diabetes, drain care, urinary catheter, ostomy care, infusion services, central line care, joint replacement, COVID, and palliative cases Minimum of 8 patient visits per day with a 1 : 1 patient ratio Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 8 : 00 to 17 : 00, Monday through Friday No weekends or holiday shifts required Charting is done using Homecare Homebase with OASIS E documentation Provide skilled nursing care and manage a variety of complex cases in a home setting Mileage is reimbursed for all patient visits Dress code includes navy, tan, or white attire First-time travelers are welcome to apply May encounter COVID-positive patients during assignments A minimum one-year gap is required for returning staff who previously worked for MedStar RTO requests must be included at submission and should not exceed 7 days over a 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first two weeks Modules and orientation may be required prior to or during assignment Requirements Active DC RN license in hand at time of consideration Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent Medicare-certified home health experience Experience with OASIS E, Homecare Homebase (HCHB), SBAR, and SOAP charting Proficient in peripheral IV starts and infusion therapy Ability to manage at least 8 home health visits daily Flu vaccination required before start Two recent supervisor references required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-596742.
