Civil Project Engineer - Transportation

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in our newly established Bismarck office. We are looking to add a Transportation Project Engineer, PE who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities! As a Transportation Project Engineer you will assist our transportation, traffic and municipal project managers in coordinating, planning, scheduling and execution of preliminary and final highway design projects.

We are looking for candidates who possess a high capacity for self-motivation and can apply engineering and transportation engineering knowledge to a variety of projects. In addition, you must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies.

What You Will Be Doing :

• Performs detailed design computations
• Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimates.
