HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Santa Rosa, California.

Title : Radiation Therapist

Location : Santa Rosa, CA

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 – 16 : 30)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by a radiation oncologist using Varian 21 EX / iX linear accelerators.
  • Treat up to 25 patients per day in a high-volume outpatient oncology clinic.
  • Operate and manage treatment equipment and perform quality assurance checks.
  • Accurately implement treatment plans using ARIA software and EPIC (preferred).
  • Ensure proper patient positioning using CBCT / kV / mV imaging and beam-modifying devices (wedges, custom shields, compensation filters).
  • Assist in tumor localization, setup of custom molds / shields, and portal imaging.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow radiation safety and isolation protocols.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and communicate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
  • Proficiency with ARIA treatment software and Varian 21 EX / iX equipment
  • Experience with advanced treatment techniques such as IMRT and External Beam Therapy
  • Familiarity with Pinnacle or Eclipse treatment planning systems is a plus
  • Able to lift / transfer patients and assist with mobility devices
