About The Position

Job Title : CT / X-RAY Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 1 year preferred

License : State licensed

Certifications : ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with charting system Epic required
• Ability to perform x-rays as this is a dual modality position

Description :

This is a dual modality position that requires proficiency in both CT and X-Ray.

Candidates with 1 year of experience or first-timers are welcome to apply.

The position will not float between units and no on-call duty is required.

Weekend shifts are required, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

The expected patient ratio is 1 : 1.

The candidate must be able to perform general x-rays for part of the shift.

Responsibilities include 3D rendering of images and preparing / administering contrast media.

Knowledge of radiation safety and capability in performing various imaging procedures is essential.

The facility provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and rapid response teams.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using Epic and PACS systems.

This role may involve working with emergency room cases, urgent care referrals, and inpatient cases.

The position utilizes equipment such as two CT units and multiple X-ray machines.

Candidates must ensure compliance with all safety and operational protocols as outlined.

This position may require commitment to working three out of five holidays each year.

Candidates must have a reliable vehicle as transportation is essential for this assignment.
