Senior Firewall Administrator

A company is looking for a Senior Firewall Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the organization's PaloAlto firewall infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security

Diagnose and resolve complex firewall issues, including connectivity, performance, and security problems

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network and firewall administrators and collaborate with other IT teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Public trust security clearance

Expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA / Firepower)

Strong understanding of network security principles and routing protocols

Experience with log analysis and security monitoring tools
