Key Responsibilities : Complete monthly accounting tasks such as journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for the financial close process. Evaluate accounting classifications according to GAAP to ensure accuracy. Maintain accuracy of accruals, allocations, and journal entries as new information becomes available. Prepare reconciliations for general ledger accounts during month-end close. Work closely with auditors to provide requested documentation and ensure transparency. Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to implementing solutions that increase efficiency and system enhancements. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls by supporting the design and operating effectiveness of controls. Take on additional duties as needed, supporting the broader finance team. Ideal Candidate Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (public accounting experience is a plus). Professional certifications like CPA or CMA are a bonus, but not required. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on process improvements.
