OPTOMETRIST - FULL TIME - PRIVATE PRACTICE IN CHESAPEAKE, VIRGINIA Our well-established and privately owned practice is growing and looking to expand our team. We would like a personable full-time optometrist to deliver high-quality care in disease and refractive needs. Why You Will Want to Join Great Bridge Eye Care : Four day work week Great Bridge Eye Care is equipped with ultra-wide fundus camera, topography / keratometry, OCT with angiography, visual field and autorefractor. You will have real autonomy in the way you see patients and focus on any specialty that you feel passionate about. Our doctors have experienced optometric technicians to assist you throughout the workday. A scribe can also be assigned to you depending on patient volume. Office Culture and Values : We have licensed opticians, certified technicians, and front desk staff that complement each other. Work / Life Balance - at Great Bridge Eye Care we are a team. Our office hours are Mon-Fri 8 AM to 5 pm, breaking for an hour for lunch. No weekends. Compensation and benefit package : Base salary with bonus structure 401K with employer match Medical insurance PTO CE allowance AOA / VOA / Tidewater Optometric Society dues. Virginia License re-registration fees Paid Holidays (9) Malpractice Insurance Vouchers for friends and family Requirements : Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree Valid Virginia State Optometry License Strong work ethic with patient care as the main priority Experience and / or residency training is not required. Location : 160 Mt. Pleasant Road, Chesapeake, Virginia 23322 Stand-alone building with own parking lot Six exam lanes for 2 or 3 doctors per day Near the Chesapeake expressway / bypass Part time associate inquiries welcomed.
