A community hospital in Orange County, NY is currently seeking a Neuro Hospitalist APP to join their growing team.

About the Opportunity :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Assignment Length : Ongoing (also open to contract to hire)
  • Schedule : 7 days on 7 days off
  • Hours : 7am-7pm

Responsibilities :

The Neuro Hospitalist APP will :

  • Provide in-house neuro coverage on a shift-based schedule
  • Collaborate closely with hospital nursing staff, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and outpatient OB / GYN providers
  • Conduct neurological consultations and emergency interventions as needed
  • Supervise and support care of patients admitted for neurological issues
  • Round on patients pre and post neurosurgical procedures
  • Ensure thorough documentation and clear communication in patient records and provider handoffs
  • Provide other services as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Experience in Neurology (preferred) or Critical Care
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
