Unarmed Security Officer For Special Events

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced Security Officers in the New York City area for Special Events.

PAY RATE : $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

SCHEDULES : Day, Afternoon, Overnight

BENEFITS :

TYPE : Special Events

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks
  • Crowd management, including controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and attendees
  • Follow access control procedures as directed
  • Maintaining exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills
  • Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
  • Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY :

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience

    • REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid NYS Security Guard License
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to understand the English and Spanish languages and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
