Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Reports to : Maintenance Supervisor

2nd shift will work Monday-Friday . Monday-Thursday shifts will be 10-hour shifts with Friday hours varying from 6 to 10-hour shifts. Saturday hours may be scheduled due to business needs. Team Member’s will be notified by management if schedules were to change outside of the times listed above

Job Summary :

Perform maintenance on all equipment and facilities, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, cutting and welding, in a safe and efficient manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities : N / A

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Carries out routine and intermediate maintenance and repair tasks while adhering to service, quality, and safety standards.
• Follows standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and waste management systems.
• Collaborates with or assists trade contractors to complete projects or complex repairs.
• Perform independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends as well as answering questions and requests.
• Maintain continuity among teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Attends Palmer Candy Leadership Academy training.
• Ability to be on call at various times.
• Flexibility to check manufacturing facility on a rotating schedule and be willing to support other facility including warehouses as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
