job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAdding refrigerant to or removing refrigerant from equipment Installing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems Cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures Replacing component and parts (pumps, pipes, fans, etc.) Using power and hand tools safely to support the facilities Maintaining air and water treatment systems Inspecting refrigerant systems for leaks Reading blueprints & schematics, utility plans, mechanical drawings, and electrical and wiring diagrams Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System Minimum TOP SECRET Clearance required - additional security clearance investigation upon hire may also be required Journeyman HVAC or Master HVAC license EPA Universal certification High school diploma or equivalent Must demonstrate proficiency with the following : Familiarity with building codes, ordinances and regulations of state and local authorities pertaining to HVAC Proficiency with ASHRAE standards to include ASHRAE 55 -Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, ASHRAE 62.1 Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, and ASHRAE 180 - Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems
HVAC Mechanic
ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced HVAC Mechanic with an active TOP SECRET clearance. The position requires maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia.
