Hardware Validation EPM

A globally leading technology company is looking for a Hardware Validation Engineering Program Manager to join its world-class hardware team. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define high risk hardware and features that need extensive coverage. This work translates into a validation plan that the engineering team will use to create test plans to run targeted testing during the various stages of development.
• Driving daily results, track critical validation metrics and work with engineering teams to point out high risk issues and drive those issues to closure.
• Participating in company wide channels to communicate validation status, call out critical system issues and communicate critical validation status and recommendation for production. Key Qualifications :
• 5-7 years of proven experience in Program Management or Hardware Engineering and engaging in multiple different teams
• Directly led product development cycles of Hardware Validation
• Leadership skills and ability to engage and drive issues with collaborators
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
• Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty Education :
• BS degree in Engineering required, Electrical Engineering preferred. Type : Contract Duration : 2 months (with extension possible) Work Location : Cupertino, CA (on-site) Pay range : $ 71.00 - $ 86.00 (DOE)
