Position : Finance Analyst

Reports To : Finance Manager

Location : Mason, OH (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days per week; required office days are every Tuesday and the third Thursday of each month)

Schedule : Monday–Friday

Bill Rate : $20.00 / hour (firm, no exceptions)

Start Date : Immediate

Duration : Through January 31, 2026

General Function

The Finance Analyst supports finance operations for high-risk and complex clients, performing advanced financial analysis, reporting, and account management support. This role ensures accuracy in client financials, identifies process improvements, and provides key insights to support both internal and external stakeholders.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interface daily with internal and external clients via phone and email to research, resolve, or escalate issues promptly and accurately.
  • Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations to support timely cash application and collections.
  • Review open receivable trends, including payment frequency and root cause analysis (e.g., denials, short / over payments).
  • Manage and prioritize the cash application process for high-risk customers.
  • Recommend process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of client financial records and provide reporting to Account Managers, clients, brokers, TPAs, and auditors as needed.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external partners to understand and resolve issues impacting high-risk, complex client accounts.
  • Support client invoicing for the Sight Protect Safety Program , working closely with stakeholders to resolve any billing discrepancies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial or accounting systems for payment transactions.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prior experience in collections, customer service, or financial operations preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
