Join an Established OB / GYN Practice in Bad Axe, Michigan!

Step into a rewarding career with an immediate opening for an OB / GYN at a well-respected facility in Bad Axe, Michigan. This practice offers a supportive environment with a full patient panel inherited from a retiring provider. You will be part of a collegial team, including another OB / GYN and a Nurse Practitioner, all while ensuring you're working in the only birthing center in the region.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage an existing patient base and provide exceptional care.
  • Work in a collaborative three-provider group performing approximately 460 gynecological procedures each year.
  • Cater to 30-40 patients per day, both inpatient and outpatient.
  • Enjoy a dedicated surgery day and work-life balance.
  • Assist with on-site procedures, including ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy.
  • Utilize paper charting in the clinic with an EMR system used in the hospital.
  • Participate in hospital call, specifically on weekends, with an average of 7 days on call per month.

Qualifications :

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB / GYN (required).
  • Current Michigan Medical License (or in process; required).
  • BLS certification or willingness to obtain (required).
  • DEA certification (must be obtained prior to starting, required).
  • CSR / CDS certification (must be obtained prior to starting, required).

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Current Michigan Medical License.
  • Board certification in OB / GYN.
  • BLS certification.
  • DEA certificate (required before starting).
  • CSR / CDS certification (required before starting).
