About The Position

Quick Credentialing - Gastroenterology Locums in New Mexico

A rewarding Gastroenterology locums assignment awaits in New Mexico. This ongoing opportunity offers a great case mix and a chance to build a schedule that works for you, with coverage needed as soon as possible.

Highlights

  • Ongoing locums assignment with flexible blocks still available.
  • Minimum 7 days per month required - you choose the dates.
  • Quick credentialing gets you to work faster, typically in 30-45 days.

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Work with an adult patient population.
  • Dedicated support from 2 MAs and additional office staff.

    • Schedule

  • Weekly structure includes a mix of procedure and clinic days.
  • Anticipated volume of approximately 15 patients per day.
  • Shared beeper call coverage is required for this assignment.

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Focus on general gastroenterology cases.
  • Common procedures include upper endoscopies with biopsy.
  • ERCP and EUS experience is preferred but not required.

    • Requirements

  • Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • An active New Mexico state license is required.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications are mandatory.
