Job Title : Psychiatric Medical Director Location : Winterville, NC (Requirement to reside in or near the area) Position Type : Full-Time Overview : We are seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Psychiatric Medical Director with a proven history in telepsychiatry and psychiatric administration. The ideal candidate will have the skills and vision to lead and expand our psychiatric program while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical care. Key Responsibilities : Administrative Leadership (40%) : Lead efforts to grow and broaden the reach of our psychiatric services. Oversee the development and management of a robust outcomes monitoring system to enhance patient care. Improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice implementation. Direct a peer-review program to ensure high standards of care. Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and foster a collaborative work environment. Clinical Service (60%) : Provide top-tier psychiatric care, leveraging your expertise in telepsychiatry and in-person consultations. Engage directly with patients, diagnosing and managing psychiatric conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Qualifications : Board Eligibility / Certification : Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry. Telepsychiatry & Administration : Demonstrated experience in telepsychiatry and psychiatric program administration is required.
