Responsibilities :
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
- Receives components or items for assembly and / or test in programmed sequence
- Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
- Assembles all variations of in-house standard products
- Follows assembly / test instructions, e.g., color code, PVC solvent welding, and thread taping.
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
- Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site
- Completes required documentation relative to production and quality
- Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping / 5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
- May read and interpret blueprints (product specific)
- Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition
- Will plumb variations of standard and custom products
- Occasionally assist with in house plumbing mechanical work
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with complicated jigs and fixtures
- Update and redline drawings as required
Requirements :
Minimum 6 months relevant experience required.Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic experience a PLUSAbility to troubleshoot and rebuild filter presses highly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints (if applicable)Proficient in the use of hand toolsHigh school diploma or GED
