Job Description : Kitting Associate

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Kitting Associate to join our production support team. This role is responsible for preparing, staging, and organizing raw materials for mixing. The Kitting Associate ensures that all ingredients and supplies are picked, weighed (if needed), labeled, and delivered to the mixing area in a timely and accurate manner. This role is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring strong attention to detail, safe material handling, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull raw materials and supplies from inventory according to batch sheets or work orders.
  • Stage and organize materials in the proper sequence for mixing.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Weigh and measure bulk ingredients as directed and ensure containers are properly labeled.
  • Verify lot numbers, quantities, and packaging against work orders.
  • Record material movements and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Maintain clean and organized staging and storage areas.
  • Follow all safety, GMP, and food handling procedures.
  • Support production schedule by preparing kits in advance to avoid delays.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, production, or material handling preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

    • Work Environment

  • Warehouse / production floor setting.
  • Frequent use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and scales.
  • Exposure to raw food ingredients (powders, liquids, etc.).
  • Requires use of PPE such as gloves, safety shoes, hairnets, and lab coats.
