The nurse must have experience with down syndrome, developmental delay and autism. Also must have a working knowledge of the Rules and Regulations for Private Home Care Providers and GAPP Procedures. Responsibilities include : \n\no Ability to follow verbal and written instructions according to the PPOT\n\no Participate in the development and implementation of the service plan for clients receiving nursing services.\n\no Regularly assesses the needs of clients receiving nursing services\n\no Medication Administration Teaching\n\no Monitoring medication\n\no Regular assess the needs of the clients receiving nursing services\n\nThis position reports to the CEO.\n\nRequired Minimum Qualifications : \n\nHigh School Diploma or GED, current Georgia RN license to practice nursing and render services in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Registered Professional Nurse Practice Act, O.C.G.A. 43-26-1 et seq. Working knowledge of Rules and Regulations for Private Home Care Providers Chapter 290-5-54. Knowledge of GAPP Procedures\n\no BLS Certified\n\no Clean Criminal Background Check\n\no Negative TB test\n\no Signed statement of history of no misconduct\n\nPreferred qualifications for this role : \n\nAbility to work independently, complete assessments and provide excellent customer service to clients.
