Job Description :
The CV Invasive Specialist performs duties necessary for cardiac catheterization procedures at a technical and professional level requiring some proctoring and supervision of technical detail. The Specialist performs a variety of technical procedures that require some independent judgment. The CV Invasive Specialist assumes responsibility and initiative for designated areas and procedures as required.

to join our high-performing team and contribute to life-saving procedures across a wide range of specialties.

3 Electrophysiology-equipped labs
2 Philips Biplane-equipped labs
for neurovascular procedures
All labs are fully equipped to support
cardiac and vascular procedures
Diverse Procedure Portfolio
We perform approximately
160 procedures per month
, including : Cardiac
Diagnostic / interventional catheterizations, Impella support
Electrophysiology
Ablations (AV Node, SVT, Atrial Fibrillation – Convergent & PFA, Atrial Flutter, PVC, VT), Watchman device, CRM device implantation
Structural Heart
ASD and PFO closures
Vascular
Endovascular and peripheral interventions, EVAR
Neurovascular
Carotid stenting, embolization, coiling, thrombectomy (diagnostic & emergent)

three-person teams
of RNs and technologists, with documentation via Epic and Cupid. Sedation is managed through
RN-led conscious sedation

anesthesia
, as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications Invasive Cardiovascular Technician
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Invasive Cardiovascular Technician II
Bachelor's Degree or
RCIS
Certification, required
Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist RCIS is required or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification or RCIS or RCES required.
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) and ACLS is required.
Surgical Technologist License must be obtained within 3 months from hire date in the State of Colorado.
Four (4) years of experience in Cardiology / Cath Lab
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of experience in Cardiology / Cath Lab
Physical Requirements :
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.- and -Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.- and -Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.- and -Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.- and -Need to walk and assist with transporting / ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing / pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).- and -May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
