Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A certified Special Education teacher is needed to provide in-person coverage for a lower elementary classroom of 10 students. This leave contract position is based in an elementary school setting in Jackson, MI. The assignment begins August 25 and is expected to continue through approximately the week of August 3.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver individualized instruction and support to students in a special education setting
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' unique needs
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Maintain clear, ongoing munication with parents and school personnel

Qualifications & Experience :

Valid Special Education teaching certification

Experience working with lower elementary students in special education

Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices

Ability to manage and adapt instruction for a class of diverse learners

Excellent munication and interpersonal skills

Location :

In-person position at an elementary school in Jackson, MI
