Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Pratt, Kansas 67124 – Enjoy Midwest living with easy access to parks, local shops, and a relaxed lifestyle.

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Shift : Day shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (06 : 30 - 15 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

On Call : Call every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week

Patient Population : Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Unit : Operating Room (OR)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1860-$2000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Kansas RN license or compact state nursing license

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (proficiency in Ortho / total joints, general, and OB required)

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Experience with special procedures / equipment : Orthopedics, GYN, Podiatry, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery (C-sections)

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Professional reference required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

OR RN Responsibilities

Serve as an OR RN Circulator, delivering safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures

Assist with a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, OB / GYN, podiatry, endoscopy, and labor / delivery (C-sections)

Maintain compliance with infection control, fire safety, laser safety, and radiation safety protocols

Manage specimen labeling, universal protocol (time out) procedures, and wound care management

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy

Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled

Utilize electronic charting systems as required
