Short Description Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma. Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies. Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. Stays current and participates departmental training offered. through polite communication with all co- workers / customers. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow / care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport). Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Prevention requirements. Experience Required 1-2 year of Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred Education Requirements Graduate of AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and therefore registry eligible. Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License. Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License
