Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Olympia, WA 98506 (Washington nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : November 18, 2025 Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $2050 Unit : Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care Unit (21 beds) Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 (may be 1 : 4 for downgraded patients) Charting : EPIC electronic medical record system Floating : Required to PCU, MS / Tele, MS Neuro within scope Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Washington or Compact State (Washington RN jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience; strong neuro ICU experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS certification required CCRN certification preferred Experience with ventilators, EVDs, bolts, pacemakers, thermoregulation, and CRRT Proficiency with EPIC charting system Ability to float between like units as needed Must provide two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Neuro ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to neuro and general ICU patients, including those with sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, GIB, and COVID-19 Manage and monitor patients with complex neuro conditions such as traumatic brain injury, post-craniotomy, and post-neurosurgery Perform advanced critical care nursing skills : arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, EVD / ICP monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias; respond rapidly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and physical therapy Float to PCU, MS / Tele, and MS Neuro units as required Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Neuro ICU RN in Olympia, WA and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
