Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Working knowledge of estimating in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical construction for multi-family and / or Commercial projects.

Capable of conceptual estimating and developing total cost packages.

Proficient in developing order-of-magnitude pricing recaps.

Stay updated with current market conditions and unit pricing.

Consistently estimate with the plan to build.

Proficient with Bluebeam overlay process for changes.

Familiar with QuoteSoft, Microsoft Office, Procore, builder, and other project management platforms.

Review the Sub change pricing for accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

5+ years of experience in estimating and quantity take-offs.

Ability to work autonomously or with trades to develop complete cost estimates.

Can develop details and metrics associated with costing.

Ability to cost estimate HVAC, Plumbing, and / or electrical scopes of work.

Experience using costing software systems.

Ability to build relationships with trade partners, clients, and consultants.

Read and interpret construction documents.

Experience with Assemble, BIM 360, or other Revit model engagement software (preferred).

Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
