Description :

Department of Physical Therapy includes a multidisciplinary team.

Common diagnoses include post-surgical cases, orthopedics, and neurologic conditions.

Patient caseload may include total joint replacements, post-stroke rehabilitation, and more.

Responsibilities include covering outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings.

Flexibility to see patients across different areas is required.

The expected patient load is 6-8 patients per day, dependent on overall caseload.

The team consists of multiple physical therapists, assistants, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.

Schedule is determined by the department management; self-scheduling is not available.

Weekend work may be required occasionally, while holidays do not require coverage.

Dress code is flexible, allowing for various scrub colors or business casual attire.

Orientation is typically one week, with expectations to manage a full patient load by week two.

Productivity expectations are set at 75%.

Travelers and staff must adhere to the radius rule regarding prior employment history.
