Job Description

We are seeking a technically strong and motivated Electrical System Engineer to join a well-respected Nebraska based public power district focused solely on electric distribution. This role offers the opportunity to learn from a deeply experienced retiring engineer while building expertise across substations, voltage regulation, SCADA, metering, and load analysis. Ideal for a degreed electrical engineer with utility experience, you will play a key role in ensuring system reliability for a rural service area with heavy irrigation and oilfield loads.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$120,000, excluding bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
