Part-Time Store Cashier / Stocker

Position Type : Part-Time Average Hours : Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage : $18.50 per hour Wage Increases : Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50
Duties and Responsibilities : Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Cashier Responsibilities :
- Processes customer purchases, performs general cleaning duties, stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provides exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience
- Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- Participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy
- Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
Stocker Responsibilities :
Stocks shelves and rotates product properly to guarantee fresh product is available for the customerFollows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displaysOrganizes new inventory, removes and breaks down empty boxesOperates machinery and follows all safety proceduresPhysical Demands :
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the storeStocker : Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heightsQualifications :
