South Metro Animal Emergency Care is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our highly skilled group of professionals for day shifts and night shfits, part-time or full-time. Some holiday and weekend hours will be required.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Deliver exceptional, compassionate nursing care to patients utilizing all your technical skills such as :

Triage emergency cases as they arrive.

In-patient care for critical patients, including exemplary comfort care.

Ability to restrain safely and effectively.

Advocate for patients and clients by answering client's questions and addressing their concerns.

Help maintain facility cleanliness.

Readily demonstrate empathy for clients in stressful and emotionally driven moments such as end of life.

Willingness to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
