Position Overview :

The objective of this position is to provide shipping and receiving support. This includes receiving incoming materials and components and safely shipping completed product. This position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities :

  • Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Prepare products for shipment including assembling, properly packaging, addressing, and stamping boxes, crates, and pallets
  • Receive, verify, and record incoming packages
  • Operate a fork lift
  • Protect items from being misrouted, lost, or damaged in shipment
  • Report incoming and outgoing material damages and discrepancies
  • Assist with stocking inventory as needed
  • Complete job records and shipping paperwork

Essentials :

  • Must comply with company policies and safety programs
  • Proficiency in measuring and performing basic mathematics
  • Organized, accurate, and detailed orientated

    • Requirements :

  • High School Diploma / GED preferred
  • 1-2 years' shipping, inventory or warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, twist, lift throughout the day for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use and safely operate hand and power tools
