Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Producer to join our growing team in Ft. Myers, FL!

The Employee Benefits Producer's primary responsibility includes marketing accounts and providing technical backup for the underwriting and production team members. Efforts support the production of new and renewal business. Decisions are made based on direction or established guidelines.

How You Will Contribute :

• Assist other marketing and sales staff in obtaining information and research.
• Rate new and renewal policies and complete applications and other required documentation at supervision request.
• Respond to client questions and maintain appropriate correspondence files as directed by supervisor.
• Responsible for the development and successful acquisition of new business revenue from new and existing clients.
• Prospect sectors or market areas.
• Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities.
• Work 36-month PIT training program in Employee Benefits in all roles.
• Assist in resolving any problems in accounting, engineering or claims for accounts produced.
• Assist in marketing accounts where appropriate due to relationships or product expertise.
• Coordinate with the service department for service of existing accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
