About The Position

🩺 Locum 24-Hour On-Call Pediatric Hospitalist (MD / DO)

📍 Location : Tiffin, OH 44883

🗓️ Assignment Dates :   8 AM –  8 AM, with ongoing opportunities

📋 Job Summary :

Seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide 24-hour on-call coverage starting October 2, 2025, at an acute care hospital. The caseload primarily consists of newborns 👶 (~90%) , with a small percentage of pediatric 🧒 and adolescent patients. Medical students may be present during newborn rounds.

🔍 Key Details :

Average Daily Census :

Newborns 👶 : 3-4

Pediatrics 🧒 : 0-1 (every 2 months)

Provider must live or stay within 30 minutes 🕒 of the hospital

Emergency temp privileges available for providers with clean background and active OH license & DEA

✈️ Travel reimbursement includes lodging (~$150 / night) and standard / economy travel rates

✅ Requirements :

Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered (within 5 years of residency)

Ohio Medical License 🩺

Ohio DEA 💊

BLS 🆘, NRP 🍼

Newborn experience 👶

X-ray Interpretation 📸

Circumcision experience ✂️

UVC / UAC experience  Must be available for full coverage 📅 8 AM –  8 AM
