JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Root Agroecology Lab at Penn State is looking for research assistant(s) for ongoing lab projects. The Fleishman Root Agroecology Lab seeks to understand the relationship between roots and soil properties in order to clarify the dual role of roots as : 1) supporters of plant health and 2) shapers of key soil functions.

Responsibilities may include :

• Collect plant and soil samples from the field or greenhouses
• Laboratory analyses on plant and soil samples
• Data entry and organization
• Support experiment setup and maintenance
• Collaborate with lab members on ongoing projects
