Governance & Risk Specialist

The Governance & Risk Specialist ensures operational integrity by overseeing the execution of cross-functional governance, compliance protocols, and incident response efforts across the program. This role serves as the control point for policy adherence, security incident remediation, and root cause follow-throughhelping safeguard the delivery framework and mitigate systemic risk.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversight of PII & Security incident tracking, analysis and mitigation
  • Owns remediation tracking for root cause analysis (RCA) and audit findings, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
  • Manages mishandled case protocols and urgent escalation workflows across business areas
  • Oversees the security incident response process, including intake, tracking, reporting, and follow-up
  • Coordinates with Portfolio Leads and QTPX to embed governance controls into delivery processes and SOPs
  • Maintains audit logs and compliance documentation for cross-functional incidents and policy breaches
  • Serves as point of contact for program-wide delivery risks that span multiple functional towers, serving as a partner to CDP and Accenture security teams
  • Partners with the Program Enablement Lead to align strategic improvements with required governance controls
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of governance mechanisms in line with client requirements and operational best practices

Role Requirement :

  • While remote, the individual must reside within 100 miles of the posted office locations
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operations delivery environment
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in program or project management
  • Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

    Colorado $63,800 to $133,700

    District of Columbia $68,000 to $142,400

    Illinois $59,100 to $133,700

    Minnesota $63,800 to $133,700

    New York / New Jersey $59,100 to $154,800

    Washington $68,000 to $142,400
