Summary of Position :

This is a typical outpatient PT job. The therapist will be responsible for evaluations and follow-up care. They are responsible for all required paperwork for compliant patient care.

Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate daily work flow to ensure department needs are met

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) We work a 10-hour day, this position will be 4 days per week 10 hours per day -variable schedule. Call is not part of this job. Holidays / Weekend coverage could be requested.

6. Floating to other units / departments. (If so, to which units / departments?) Possible float to the acute care PT department -negotiable

7. Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.There are approximately 50 beds, which includes 5 ICU beds.

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)N / A

9. Dress Code : Business casual for outpatient and business casual or scrubs in the Acute PT department

10. Tell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program.The PT will go through out general hospital orientation and then go through our typical on-boarding which includes a comprehensive competency checklist and time on the units with a PT preceptor.
