As the Security Officer, your main responsibilities would be monitoring and protecting hospital patients, employees, guests, and property, preserving the peace, preventing crime, and detecting and detaining violators of the law.

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to : responding to hospital emergency codes, frequent patrol of lots and clinics in patrol squad, routine rounding on aggressive flagged patients or those at risk for security intervention, writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, and liaison to orient responding law enforcement agencies.

Weekend shift differential of $1.05 / hr

Sign-on Bonus : To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare / Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
