The Junior Account Manager plays a critical support role within the service department, ensuring accurate execution of administrative and project coordination tasks across customer accounts. This position bridges the gap between the field and the office, maintaining smooth workflow for scheduling, proposal tracking, invoicing, service cage inventory, and client communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced roofing service environment.
Duties and Responsibilities, But not limited to :
Project Coordination :
Assist in the coordination of daily work orders, dispatch service crews, and ensure project schedules are aligned with material readiness and job status. Track service work from scheduling to invoice.
Customer Communication :
Serve as the primary internal point of contact for assigned accounts. Provide regular updates, follow-ups post-service, and track satisfaction through surveys and callbacks.
Data & Reporting :
Input work orders, timecards, and material usage into Dataforma. Ensure proposals and invoices are submitted accurately and within 48 hours of job completion. Maintain clean records for audit and reporting.
Inventory Oversight :
Manage weekly service cage inventory. Track material movement, flag shortages, and ensure crews are equipped daily with required tools and consumables.
Field Support & Job Accuracy :
Review field photos and foreman notes for job completion. Identify scope creep or incomplete documentation and escalate to the Service Manager where necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary or trade admin experience preferred
12 years in construction, service coordination, or administrative project support
Familiarity with CRMs such as Dataforma, ServiceTitan, or similar platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with a bias toward action and accountability
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Education / Experience
Working Conditions :
The employee performs the main functions of this job in a hybrid office / field environment. The employee works both independently and in teams, in the absence of supervision, to complete tasks related to the Service Department.
