Job Description

The Creative Director at Full Squad will set the vision and oversee the creative direction of our multi-channel media network. You must live online, understand internet culture at a native level, and know how to build content that travels. This role combines creative leadership, audience growth, and brand partnership expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy

  • Lead the creative direction across all Full Squad channels
  • Ideate formats that resonate with Gen Z and align with cultural trends
  • Ensure every piece of content is designed with the audience funnel in mind

Content & Audience Growth

  • Manage and evolve a multi-channel media network, from short-form to long-form content
  • Guide teams on how to produce content optimized for each platform’s algorithm
  • Stay ahead of internet trends, memes, and cultural shifts, bringing them into the content strategy

    • Branded Content

  • Work with partners to develop branded content that feels authentic to the audience
  • Translate brand goals into content that drives engagement and retention
  • Ensure sponsored content integrates seamlessly with Full Squad’s voice and style

    • Team Leadership

  • Manage and inspire a team of editors, producers, and creators
  • Create clear creative processes and feedback loops
  • Balance creative vision with operational efficiency

    • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or senior creative role in digital media
  • Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
  • Strong track record of building content that drives reach and retention
  • Expertise in branded content and translating brand objectives into audience-first storytelling
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Native understanding of internet culture, Gen Z behavior, and trends
