Summary of Job :

Responsible for using specialized knowledge of national, state, and / or local laws to advise and represent the organization on corporate, commercial and compliance matters. Provides legal advice and counsel in support of business activities and transactions. Researches and interprets existing laws and regulations and anticipated changes to laws to guide informed decisions and reduce risk. Prepares and reviews various agreements, contracts, and other legal documents. Supports the organization in negotiations, regulatory interactions, and other business activities requiring legal input.

Preferred Skills / Abilities / Experience

Contract Law Expertise : Strong familiarity with commercial contract structures, especially NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs, including experience negotiating terms with vendors or clients.

Technology Sector Experience : Prior legal experience in the technology, logistics, or SaaS industries is highly desirable, particularly in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Business Acumen : Ability to balance legal risk with business priorities, offering pragmatic solutions that support operational goals while maintaining compliance.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Must currently hold an active state legal license in good standing
