Position Overview
The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will provide therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges and / or substance use disorders. The LPC will play a vital role in developing treatment plans, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, and supporting clients on their journey toward recovery.
Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, the LPC will assess client needs, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective and compassionate treatment delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to support clients' understanding of mental health and coping strategies.Collaborate with the Clinical Director, medical staff, and other team members to coordinate care.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid, DMHA, and Joint Commission standards.Provide crisis intervention services as needed to ensure client safety.Assist with discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and ethical treatment in all client interactions.Qualifications
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.Active LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, or LISAC license in the state of Ohio is required.Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate counseling experience preferred.Experience working in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a similar clinical setting preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed documentation.Must hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and provide insured transportation.Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate client admissions and facility needs.Compensation
Licensed : $70,000- $75,000
Temporary Licensed : $65,000- $70,000
Master's Level : $55,000- $65,000
