About the Role

We are seeking Claims Adjuster to join our remote team supporting Cigna / Evernorth. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service and insurance experience who are interested in transitioning to a permanent role.

You will handle inbound calls from providers and members, primarily regarding claims, eligibility, and benefits. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to navigate multiple systems while delivering first-call resolution and professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer an average of 45 inbound calls daily regarding claims, eligibility, and benefits.
  • Assist providers and members with claim status, billing protocols, and contract-related inquiries.
  • Process requests such as claim reprocessing, duplicate EOBs, or payment reissues.
  • Update provider demographic information and submit escalations when necessary.
  • Document and resolve inquiries accurately, ensuring compliance and first-call resolution.
  • Make occasional outbound calls to follow up on claim or provider relation issues.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required .
  • Prior experience in customer service (insurance industry strongly preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multitask while using multiple applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Technical proficiency with PC systems and applications.

    • Must have reliable high-speed internet at home (equipment will be provided).
