Driver

Under direct supervision, the driver operates a company vehicle to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment within an industrial area.

Job duties include coordinating the loading or unloading of trucks, preparing receipts and verifying orders, ensuring vehicle and equipment are clean, safe and kept in working order, performing other duties as assigned, and operating company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment as required.

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and 0 (zero) to 2 (two) years of related experience.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include the ability to document any information obtained from the customer during delivery, basic math and reading comprehension skills, strong efficiency and time management skills, and the ability to read and interpret delivery instructions.
